  9. Thank you for taking time to evaluate one of our Medical Clip Art sets.
  10. The clip art is NOT free or public domain. The clip art is copyrighted
  11. to the artist. It is part of a larger collection of medical clip art
  12. designed to help artists, public relations or other medical pro-
  13. fessionals in preparing DTP, overheads or slides in presentations &
  14. publications to, or about, health care & the medical community.
  15.  
  16. We use the shareware or user supported method to distribute our clip
  17. art. Shareware works only if you the user support the author or artist.
  18. The clip art is original & hand drawn. MEDSETs are not copied, scanned
  19. or converted from other sources. Besides hundreds of hours in creation,
  20. each image group is tested in a variety of programs to determine its
  21. suitability. Please let your friends & co-workers try it also. When you
  22. do this please loan them a complete disk with all the files, not just 1
  23. or 2 clip art files. If the MEDSET clip art is of use to you, please
  24. take time to register the package. Registering is fully explained in the
  25. MANUAL.DOC as well as REGISTER.DOC. More than 140 additional images &
  26. printed users manual with image gallery are also available at the time
  27. of registration. If you find that the clip art isn't what you need,
  28. don't register it, but please don't use it either. Take time to read
  29. "License" in MANUAL.DOC

  31. This set, MEDSET1A, is in the *.CGM format. We have chosen the CGM
  32. format for its almost universal acceptance either directly or as an
  33. import file in word processing, layout & draw programs. A list of
  34. "Tested Programs" is included in MANUAL.DOC. If you use a paint program
  35. a CGM to PCX translator (shareware) is available to registered users. A
  36. complete list of the images in this set are in MANUAL.DOC, "Images",
  37. this becomes the Image Gallery in the printed manual.

  39. Technical Support: We have tried to address everything you need to know
  40. in MANUAL.DOC. "Registered" users receive additional support. This
  41. includes CompuServe & Prodigy addresses, product updates & optionally a
  42. printed user guide. Please read the "Registration" section in MANUAL.DOC
  43. for complete details.

  45. Future Clip Art: It is always nice to hear from either registered or
  46. non-registered users about our clip art. Please feel free to drop us a
  47. note. What can we do to improve the clip art? What medical images do you
  48. need for your presentations? What other type of images could you use? If
  49. we use an idea in a future clip art collection, the person who suggested
  50. it first, will be sent an introductory copy of that collection.

  52. Custom Clip Art Or Logos: We can convert almost any image or logo to
  53. clip art. With custom clip art you choose from several output formats.
